Avoid exposing your emeralds to harsh chemicals, including household cleaners, lotions and perfumes, as these substances can damage the stone’s surface and color. Additionally, limit their exposure to heat and extreme temperatures, as sudden changes can potentially affect the gemstone. For regular cleaning, use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe away surface dust and oils. Steer clear of ultrasonic cleaners or steam cleaners, as these can cause damage. Avoid harsh detergents that may remove oils from the stone and change the structure or color of the stone. Please never shower, swim or bath with your lab grown emeralds and certainly avoid chlorine. Never soak it in any liquids. When not wearing your emeralds, store them in a separate, soft pouch or a jewelry box with individual compartments to prevent scratches from contact with other pieces. Additionally, keep them out of direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can cause potential fading or discoloration.
